Del-Air Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration is seeking a skilled HVAC technician in Bradenton, FL. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air handling equipment and related systems.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of HVAC field experience, EPA certification, and a valid Florida driver license. Training to obtain NATE/CERTIFICATION may be provided. Full-time position with competitive wages and benefits.

Salary Range: $30.00 To $40.00 Hourly

DEL-AIR Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration is a rapidly growing industry leader with seven locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), Sarasota, and Tampa

Primary Responsibilities:

Specific Duties & Task:

• Install, modify, or repairs air ducts, indoor unit, drain pans, drain lines, etc.
• Braze and solder various metals to connect piping
• Install and calibrate thermostats, humidistats, solenoids, and timers
• Inspect inoperative indoor or outdoor units to locate causes of trouble
• Disassemble indoor or outdoor units, and replace or repairs defective parts
• Perform preventive maintenance drain cleaning, coil sanitizing, and motor lubrication
• Maintain the required tools list for the position
• Familiar with RTUs and split systems up to 50 tons. Light refrigeration is also a plus.
• NATE certification is preferred but will work with the right candidate to obtain certification

Qualifications:

• Have at least 1 year of HVAC field experience
• Have the appropriate certifications (EPA)
• Have a valid Florida driver's license
• Be experienced with low & high voltage wiring
• Be able to pass a Drug Test
• Be able to pass an extensive background check
• Meet the age requirement of 18 years or older
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Be able to work flexible hours including overtime as needed
