DEL-AIR Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration, Inc. in Bradenton, FL is hiring a Residential Installer to remove, replace, and start-up HVAC systems in residential homes.

You will work with customers on-site, perform walk-throughs, and ensure installations meet code and safety standards. The role requires at least 2 years of field experience, a valid Florida driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of field experience.
• Valid Florida driver's license.
• EPA preferred, but not required.
• Experience with low and high voltage wiring.
• Pass a drug test.
• Pass an extensive background check.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work flexible hours including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Remove, replace, and start-up HVAC equipment in residential homes.
• Interact with customers and explain the job before starting.
• Perform walk-through inspections and review work orders.
• Protect customer property during work.
• Install/modify air ducts and indoor/outdoor units.
• Braze and solder to connect piping; service components as needed.
• Maintain tools and keep vehicles clean and fueled.
• Work electrical tasks to code when required.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $35.00 Annually

DEL-AIR Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration, Inc. is a growing industry leader with seven locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Tampa, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), and Sarasota.

Primary Responsibilities: Remove, replace, and start-up air conditioning and heating equipment by performing various tasks to A/C units in residential homes.

Specific Duties & Tasks:

• Interact with Retail Salesperson on abnormal circumstances for the job
• Communicate with a customer in-person, the job to be performed prior to starting
• Perform walk-through inspection of the job site and consult work order requirements
• Remove and replace all equipment while protecting the customer’s property
• Perform minor carpentry work (moldings, platforms, doors, attic access, etc.)
• Install, modify, or repair air ducts, indoor units, and outdoor units
• Braze and solder various metals to connect piping
• Disassemble indoor or outdoor units and replace defective parts
• Maintain the required tool list for the position
• Maintain cleanliness and fuel levels of company vehicles during their off-duty time
• Electrical work to code when required
• Collect cash or check payments from customers when required
• Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Have at least 2 years' of field experience
• Have a valid Florida driver's license

• Be able to pass a Drug Test
• Be able to pass an extensive background check
• Meet the age requirement of 18 years or older
