Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Service Tech Positions And Responsibilities

Service Tech I: The Service Technician I is often a recent graduate from an accredited trade school entering the field of HVAC service and repair and/or has 3 or fewer years of experience. This position is qualified to make repairs in the field but not to diagnose repairs independently. Proficiency in preventative maintenance is expected. Attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are valued more than skill level.

Service Tech II: The Service Technician II has required certifications including EPA and generally more than 3 years’ experience in HVAC service and repair. Skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial HVAC equipment.

Service Tech III: The Service Technician III has EPA certification and over 5 years’ experience. Capable of working independently on a wide variety of commercial air-conditioning equipment, performing full maintenance and service.
