Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Security Systems Technician to install, configure, test, and support commercial security, life-safety, and low-voltage systems at customer sites. The role involves wiring, labeling, and testing cabling and devices, configuring user access, and ensuring compliance with codes and company standards.

You will work with customers, project teams, and vendors, performing troubleshooting, maintenance, and system changes while delivering safe, reliable, and well-documented

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NICET, BICSI, ESA, OSHA, or security-industry certifications preferred.
• Experience with commercial security systems and related platforms expected.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and support video surveillance, access control, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
• Terminations, labeling, and testing of cabling and network hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; perform upgrades and preventive maintenance.
• Read blueprints and specifications and ensure installations meet codes and standards.
• Maintain accurate records and provide customer support and project closeout.
