Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Commercial Security Systems Installation Technician in Roseville, CA. The role focuses on installing access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, and related low-voltage equipment, with emphasis on quality customer service.

The candidate will read blueprints, terminate cabling, mount devices, and test systems, while maintaining documentation and safety at job sites.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of experience installing low-voltage or security systems.
Basic understanding of wiring methods and low-voltage installation practices.
Ability to use hand and power tools, test equipment, and ladders.
Ability to read and follow installation documentation and wiring diagrams.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass background screening as required for customer sites.

Responsibilities

Install and configure commercial security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling.
Read blueprints, floor plans, and system drawings.
Mount cameras, control panels, readers, and door hardware.
Program, test, and commission systems; troubleshoot as needed.
Complete service documentation and maintain project records.
Ensure installations meet company standards and codes.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment at customer sites.
Interact professionally with customers, PMs, and team members.
