Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Low Voltage Security Installer to install, program, test, troubleshoot, and service security systems including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and low-voltage cabling. The role requires reading blueprints and schematics and delivering excellent customer service on site in Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities include wiring panels and cameras, programming systems, and supporting project leads with status updates while maintaining safety and quality on all sites.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and wiring access control, CCTV, panels, and door hardware.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings.
• Familiarity with cable support systems (J-hooks, conduit, raceway).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and service access control, CCTV, alarm, and low‑voltage systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system specifications.
• Install and wire panels, cameras, door hardware, and cabling.
• Program and troubleshoot security systems as needed.
• Support project leads and communicate project status, issues, and timelines.
• Maintain safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on all job sites.
