Job summary

Network Cabling Services (NCS) is seeking an experienced Security Systems Design Estimator to design, estimate, and develop integrated electronic security solutions for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and critical infrastructure projects in the Houston area.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection Systems, producing accurate estimates, and collaborating with sales, operations, project managers, and customers to

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and estimating commercial electronic security systems.
Strong experience with Access Control Systems, CCTV / VMS.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Commercial security systems experience is required.

Responsibilities

Design integrated electronic security systems for commercial and industrial facilities, including Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection.
Review RFPs, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to develop complete system designs and project scopes.
Conduct site surveys and field assessments to evaluate existing conditions and identify project requirements.
Prepare accurate estimates, material takeoffs, labor calculations, and BOMs for design-build and bid/spec projects.
Coordinate with Sales, Project Managers, Operations, and customers throughout the design and estimating process.
