Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Security Sales Manager to lead the commercial security sales team across the assigned territory. You will drive revenue growth, build strong customer relationships, and align sales operations with business priorities to deliver profitable outcomes.

You will mentor a high‑performing sales organization, manage key accounts, and collaborate with Fire and HVAC partners to maximize cross-sale opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including 3 years of field sales management experience.
• CRM experience, with Salesforce preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to interact with internal teams and customer executives.
• Willingness to travel nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a commercial security sales team to meet revenue targets.
• Drive business development, territory management, and product sales.
• Own profitability, revenue per user growth, and retention of customers and reps.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement sales operations across the territory.
• Set clear touch activity expectations and quota achievement.
• Measure activity and performance to translate marketing into sales.
• Implement sales initiatives aligned with territory goals.
• Collaborate with departments to align sales with customer needs and priorities.
• Work with Fire and HVAC managers to leverage cross-sale leads.
