CPI Security is seeking a Commercial Security Installation Technician for our Columbia, SC market. Our Technicians install our full suite of smart security solutions for commercial customers, ensuring customer satisfaction while helping protect business assets, employees, and customers.

This role offers a performance-based income with uncapped commissions, company-provided gear, ongoing training, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics, electrical, HVAC, or related field is a plus.
• Strong sales skills, with an emphasis on upselling and closing techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and flexibility to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Installs commercial customers' new equipment or systems to ensure the system exceeds customers' expectations.
• Educate, train and demonstrate the customers' new system.
• Must coordinate with supervisor and other technicians to complete jobs.
• Maintain a good rapport and attitude with coworkers and customer base.
• Provide solutions and use expertise for challenges that may arise for customers.
• Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology.
• Present a professional appearance and maintain a clean and professional vehicle image.
• Implement new ideas and strategies to make tasks easier.
