CPI Security is seeking a Commercial Security Installation Technician for the Columbia, SC market. You will install our suite of security solutions for commercial customers, ensuring complete customer satisfaction and safeguarding client assets.

The role emphasizes upselling, training customers, and coordinating with field teams, all while presenting a professional image. Earn a performance-based income with uncapped commissions, supported by comprehensive training and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training in electronics, electrical, HVAC, or related field is a plus.
• Strong sales skills with emphasis on upselling and closing techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Installs commercial customers' new equipment or systems to ensure the system exceeds customers’ expectations.
• Educate, train and demonstrate the customer on the new system.
• Work closely with supervisor and other technicians to coordinate and complete jobs.
• Maintain a good rapport and attitude with coworkers and customer base.
• Provide solutions and use expertise for challenges that may arise for customers.
• Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology.
• Present a professional appearance and maintain a clean and professional vehicle image.
• Implement new ideas and strategies to make tasks easier.
