TEKsystems in Beaufort, SC is seeking a Security Systems Installer for a contract-to-hire role. You will install, support, and maintain commercial security systems including CCTV, access control, and door hardware on active construction sites and existing client locations.

This on-site position offers overtime opportunities and potential for full-time conversion after six months, with four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday and regional travel within the Carolinas.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of low-voltage, structured cabling, or security installation experience
• Experience pulling, routing, dressing, and terminating low-voltage cabling
• Hands-on experience with cameras, access control systems, or related security devices
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and device layouts
• Ability to safely work on ladders and lifts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience working in commercial construction environments

Responsibilities

• Install, Support, and Maintain Commercial Security Systems, Including CCTV & IP Camera Systems, Access Control, Card & Badge Readers, and related devices
• Pull, route, dress, and terminate low-voltage cabling
• Read construction drawings and device layouts
• Troubleshoot security and low-voltage systems
• Support project schedules while maintaining quality and safety
• Work independently and as part of a team
