Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer to drive growth in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will develop new business, expand market penetration, and strengthen relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end-users.

Responsibilities include identifying project opportunities, providing technical sales support, coordinating with manufacturing and engineering, and leading strategic growth plans while traveling up to 50-70% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical work experience.
• 5+ years of industrial sales, sales engineering, account management, or business development experience.
• Experience selling technical products through OEM, distributor, and/or industrial end-user channels.
• Ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while expanding relationships within existing accounts.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–70%.

Responsibilities

• Profitable growth through market penetration for WEG Commercial products in the assigned territory.
• Develop customer base via new business development and grow share of wallet with existing customers.
• Collaborate with leadership to define markets and Ideal Customer Profiles.
• Identify project opportunities and communicate across the organization.
• Provide technical sales support and project management to other WEG channels.
• Lead technical meetings and ensure proper specification submission and interpretation.
• Travel and work with manufacturing, customer service and Application Engineering as needed.
