The Commercial Sales Associate is responsible for maximizing vehicle sales and profit while maintaining the highest possible level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has previous sales or marketing experience, a professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including strong telephone skills), and a valid driver’s license. He or she must be organized and self‑motivated and willing to work a flexible schedule to meet customers’ needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous sales/marketing experience preferred
• Experience with upfits/equipment a plus; Service Body, Flat Bed, Box Vans, etc…
• Actively manage and grow a dedicated sales territory
• Highly organized and self‑motivated

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge on new products, features, and accessories available and translates them into benefits for Dealership customers
• Prepares sold vehicles for customer pick‑up, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle’s operational features
• Negotiates vehicle price with the aid and at the direction of Sales Management
• Follows up with previous customers for referrals and future sales
• Reports to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, sales prospecting, planned activities and reviews
