Job summary

Jobot in Campbell, CA is seeking a Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing Sales Estimator/PM to help grow the Northern California market. This role combines sales, estimating, and project management responsibilities for a well-established roofing contractor serving 30+ years.

You will develop client relationships, perform site inspections and produce accurate estimates, manage awarded projects, and coordinate with crews, vendors, and customers to ensure profitability and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Experience in sales, estimating, project management, or a combination of the three.
• Strong understanding of commercial reroofing, service, maintenance, and restoration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, building owners, facility managers, general contractors, and other commercial clients.
• Perform site visits, roof inspections, measurements, and assessments.
• Identify appropriate roofing, restoration, repair, and waterproofing solutions.
• Prepare detailed estimates, scopes of work, budgets, and proposals.
• Present proposals and recommendations directly to customers.
• Follow up on outstanding proposals and help convert opportunities into awarded work.
• Manage awarded projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Coordinate with field operations, crews, vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Assist with material procurement, scheduling, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, schedules, and overall profitability.
• Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the project.
• Identify additional service, maintenance, repair and reroofing opportunities within existing accounts.

Job Details

The Sales Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing commercial roofing & waterproofing opportunities, performing roof inspections and estimates, preparing proposals, closing work, and helping manage awarded projects through successful completion.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred
• Experience in sales, estimating, project management, or a combination of the three
• Strong understanding of commercial reroofing, service, maintenance, and restoration
• Knowledge of systems such as TPO/PVC, coatings, fluid-applied systems, metal roofing, waterproofing, and related commercial roofing applications
• Ability to perform roof inspections and develop accurate scopes and estimates
• Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, field teams, vendors, and manufacturers
• Strong understanding of project costs, margins, schedules, and change orders
• Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently in the field
