JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company, is currently seeking a Commercial Roofing Tech I for our Akron, OH location.

This role involves leading the service crew, investigating, locating, and repairing leaks and defects in various commercial roofing systems such as EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. You will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest craftsmanship standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Roof maintenance and repairs
2. Perform work according to job specifications and safety guidelines
3. Maintain professional interactions with all customers
4. Manage the commercial roofing crew, including completing required paperwork, attending meetings, and assisting in training crew members

Core Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 2+ years of experience leading commercial roofing crews
• Valid driver's license
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills with clients, supervisors, and co-workers
• Initiative, integrity, and adaptability
• Technologically savvy
