Job summary

Schwickert's Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Commercial Roofing Service Technicians. You will inspect roofs for damages and leaks, perform repairs, and complete field inspections while developing a budget and materials list.

This role emphasizes learning, safety, and on-site problem solving. Starting pay ranges from $22-$32+ per hour based on experience, with a sign-on bonus up to $1,000.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and take direction from crew Foreman.
• Customer service experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs for damages and leaks.
• Perform roof repairs as needed.
• Completing field inspections.
• Develop a scope of work with a budget.
• Organize a materials list.
• Clean rooftops by snow removal, ice removal and other debris.

Our Commercial Roofing Service Technicians are hard-working, enjoy seeing a job from start to finish, and want to learn and grow in their career. Successful candidates will be eligible for up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus! Starting pay ranges from $22-$32+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs for damages and leaks
• Perform roof repairs as needed
• Completing field inspections
• Develop a scope of work with a budget
• Organize a materials list
• Clean rooftops by snow removal, ice removal and other debris
• Additional duties

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and take direction from crew Foreman
• Experience with diagnosing leaks on HVAC, skylights, siding, and other potential leak sources would be helpful
• Experience with scissor lift, boom lift, and forklift
• No fear of heights
• Lift 50+ lbs
• Sit, stand, and climb stairs
• Customer service experience
• On the job training is provided

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will use hands, have to talk, and hear.
