Job summary

Schwickert's Tecta America in Lawrence, KS is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Commercial Roofing Service Technicians. Our crew members enjoy seeing a project from start to finish and have opportunities to grow in their careers.

Successful candidates will be eligible for up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Starting pay ranges from $20–$32+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and take direction from crew Foreman.
• Experience with diagnosing leaks on HVAC, skylights, siding, and other potential leak sources would be helpful.
• Experience with scissor lift, boom lift, and forklift.
• No fear of heights.
• Lift 50+ lbs.
• Sit, stand, and climb stairs.
• Customer service experience.
• On the job training is provided.

• Inspect roofs for damages and leaks
• Perform roof repairs as needed
• Completing field inspections
• Develop a scope of work with a budget
• Organize a materials list
• Clean rooftops by snow removal, ice removal and other debris
