Job summary

Schwickert’s Tecta America is looking for motivated Commercial Roofing Service Technicians in Kansas. You will inspect roofs, diagnose leaks, and perform repairs, with an opportunity to grow in your career. A sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 is available and starting pay ranges from $20-$32+ per hour based on experience.

Candidates should be prepared for physical work, multi-task responsibilities, and pre-employment screening. Training is provided and benefits are offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing leaks on HVAC, skylights, siding, and other potential leak sources is helpful.
• On-the-job training is provided.
• Lift 50+ lbs required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs for damages and leaks.
• Perform roof repairs.
• Complete field inspections.
• Develop a scope of work with a budget.
• Organize a materials list.
• Clean rooftops by snow/ice removal and debris.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!

Starting pay ranges from $20-$32+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs for damages and leaks
• Perform roof repairs as needed
• Completing field inspections
• Develop a scope of work with a budget
• Organize a materials list
• Clean rooftops by snow removal, ice removal and other debris
• Additional duties

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and take direction from crew Foreman
• Experience with diagnosing leaks on HVAC, skylights, siding, and other potential leak sources would be helpful
• Experience with scissor lift, boom lift, and forklift
• No fear of heights
• Lift 50+ lbs
• Sit, stand, and climb stairs
• Customer service experience
• On the job training is provided

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will use hands, have to talk, and hear.
