Job summary

Schwickerts' Tecta America in Kansas is seeking motivated individuals to join our Commercial Roofing Service Technician team. You will be responsible for inspecting roofs, performing repairs, and completing field inspections from start to finish. Starting pay ranges from $20-$32+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$32+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs for damages and leaks
• Perform roof repairs as needed
• Completing field inspections
• Develop a scope of work with a budget
• Organize a materials list
• Clean rooftops by snow removal, ice removal and other debris
• Additional duties

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and take direction from crew Foreman
• Experience with diagnosing leaks on HVAC, skylights, siding, and other potential leak sources would be helpful
• Experience with scissor lift, boom lift, and forklift
• No fear of heights
• Lift 50+ lbs
• Sit, stand, and climb stairs
• Customer service experience
• On the job training is provided

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will use hands, have to talk, and hear.
