Job summary

Schwickert’s Tecta America in Kansas is seeking motivated individuals to join our Commercial Roofing Service Technician team. You’ll be on-site, see jobs from start to finish, and gain hands-on experience learning and growing in your career.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$32+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with a potential sign-on bonus of up to $1,000. Pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and take direction from crew Foreman.
• Experience diagnosing leaks on HVAC, skylights, siding, and other potential leak sources would be helpful
• Experience with scissor lift, boom lift, and forklift is beneficial
• No fear of heights; lift 50+ lbs
• On the job training is provided

Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs for damages and leaks
• Perform roof repairs as needed
• Completing field inspections
• Develop a scope of work with a budget
• Organize a materials list
• Clean rooftops by snow removal, ice removal and other debris
