Role Description

The Commercial Roofing Service Manager is a full-time role in Tampa, FL working across the office and the field, responsible for growing and operating the service division. It builds a durable client base by calling on customers directly, treats satisfaction and retention as first priorities, and coordinates with production to keep preventative maintenance programs in place through tenant turnover and buildouts. The role runs technical training and safety development for the service team, teaching foremen and technicians repair and maintenance methods across all commercial roofing systems, and reviews safety practice during repair work. Day to day it reviews and approves timecards, verifies material usage, and ensures service documentation is complete enough to invoice without rework. The Service Manager uses drones, thermal imaging, and moisture meters for roof assessments, manages division budgets and cost performance, determines staffing needs, and conducts annual performance reviews. The division provides 24/7 emergency response with our own technicians across retail, healthcare, education, and institutional accounts.

Qualifications

Commercial construction experience is required and candidates without it will not be considered.

• Five or more years in commercial roofing service management, or senior service and superintendent experience in commercial roofing.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of commercial roofing repair and maintenance across TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up, metal, and coatings.
• Proven customer relationship management, with a record of retaining commercial accounts over time.
• Proficiency with job management software, inspection technology, and service billing workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to train technicians and hold a team accountable.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable record.
• Essential functions include working on roofs daily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
