Job summary

J Reynolds, a Tecta America Company, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager & Estimator for its Saginaw, TX shop. The role oversees estimating, scheduling, and managing roofing projects from cradle to grave, ensuring work aligns with plans, specifications, and budgets while maintaining safety and quality.

The position requires 3+ years of roofing experience, proficiency with MS Office and project management software, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to visit job sites about 50%

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of roofing or construction industry experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with estimating from drawings and specs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Generate estimates from blueprints, specs, field notes and drawings.
• Submit proposals to customers and manage project schedules.
• Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, GC and property managers.
• Attend weekly meetings and manage start-up, pre-bid and progress.
• Create project budgets, submittals, material lists and crew needs.
• Oversee safety and conduct pre-job safety analyses.
• Track costs against estimates and change orders.
• Manage project closeouts and warranty documents.
• Execute contracts with subcontractors.
• Produce month-end WIP and cost-to-complete reports.
