Summary

Plan, organize, and oversee the daily activities, including designating material staging areas, training crew members in roofing system installations, and managing scheduling and issues. The Superintendent will be responsible for installing roofing systems safely, with high quality, and cost-effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college preferred
• 5-7 years of experience; 2-3 years in roofing
• Valid driver’s license required
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and scheduling tools
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to develop safety plans
• Leadership skills to supervise and lead crews
• Ability to estimate labor, material needs, and control costs
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize
• Ability to read shop drawings and install various roofing components
• Understanding of construction materials and techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Essential Functions

• Review project files, scope, and schedules with managers
• Ensure safety protocols and proper equipment use
• Supervise daily crew activities and maintain site cleanliness
• Monitor material needs and coordinate with suppliers
• Coordinate with management on project progress and issues
• Complete required paperwork and reports
• Oversee quality control and project closeout
• Install roofing and related systems, ensuring adherence to standards

Physical Demands

• Stand for long periods, climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds
• Handle materials and work in various environmental conditions

Work Environment

• Work in hot, cold, and noisy environments with safety precautions
• Exposure to hazards and minor injuries
