Job summary

Baker Roofing Company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for Commercial Roofing. The role oversees the Service Department's repair and maintenance work, coordinating field crews, scheduling, safety, and quality from the office with field site presence as needed.

Responsibilities include budgeting, customer communication, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. The position emphasizes safety, leadership, and efficient project execution in a dynamic roofing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• OSHA10/30, First Aid, and CPR certifications are a plus.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and dispatch daily service and repair work.
• Maintain job records including reports, time sheets, and photos.
• Review service requests, scope of work, materials, and roof access.
• Submit purchase orders and equipment requests.
• Act as primary customer contact for service work and schedule changes.
• Ensure work orders, contracts, and permits are in place before materials are released.
• Supervise, train, and support technicians on safety and quality.
• Lead department meetings and provide status and cost information.
