Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role within the commercial roofing industry
• Willingness to learn and grow as a leader through on-the-job situations and formal training
• Enthusiasm for outdoor work and physical activity
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of commercial roofing tools, machines, and materials
• Ability to interpret blueprints, project specifications, and safety documentation (preferred but not required)
• Effective leadership skills, including communication, motivation, and team building
• Ability to recognize and utilize team members' strengths
• Flexible schedule of 40+ hours per week
• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and online platforms
• Willingness to learn and improve professionally
• Experience with multiple commercial roofing systems (required)
• Experience with roofing application tools (required)
• Experience with all phases of roofing installation (preferred)
• OSHA Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Enforce and coordinate safety measures on-site
• Communicate effectively with team and project management, document issues, and share updates
• Manage crews and oversee quality of work
• Participate in weekly subcontractor meetings
• Maintain knowledge of roofing tools and materials
• Read and interpret blueprints and safety guidelines
• Lead by example, motivate, and inspire team members
• Coordinate communication between clients and the Benton Roofing team
• Identify and address problem areas during installation
• Prioritize leak and water intrusion issues during work
• Complete daily reports and quality control documentation
• Adhere to company and client rules and standards
• Maintain a professional appearance and integrity
• Foster a positive work environment
• Always ask questions when unsure or in need of assistance
