Job summary

The Guild Collective in Austin, TX is seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimator to support both residential and commercial projects. The role blends field assessment with precise cost estimation and coordination with clients and internal teams to drive project success.

You will visit sites, perform takeoffs, and develop accurate roofing estimates while staying current on materials, methods, and local requirements. Strong communication and Excel/Xactimate familiarity are valued as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Background in construction estimating, roofing, or related field preferred.
• Understanding of common roofing systems (shingle, metal, flat roofing such as TPO, etc.).
• Ability to read plans and perform quantity takeoffs.
• Comfortable learning estimating software such as Xactimate.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Excel or similar tools is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.

About the Role

We are hiring an Estimator to support residential and commercial roofing projects. This position focuses on evaluating job requirements, building accurate project estimates, and coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.

This is a hands-on role that combines fieldwork, estimating, and client communication. You will also contribute to improving internal estimating processes and tools as the team grows.

What You'll Do
