Job summary

Thomasville Restoration is seeking a Commercial Estimator to bid and estimate commercial restoration and reconstruction projects across the Mid-Atlantic. You will conduct site inspections, develop bids with pricing, and collaborate with property managers on rehabilitation scopes to ensure accurate, timely estimates.

You will coordinate with the Project Concierge team for fast turnaround, review estimates with sales, and communicate with adjusters on insurance claims and negotiations, while

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial estimating or restoration.
• Proficiency in Xactimate; familiarity with DocuSketch, Hover or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of construction practices to support accurate estimates.
• Excellent communication when explaining scopes to clients and stakeholders.
• Willing to travel across VA, DC, and MD.

Responsibilities

• Bid and estimate commercial restoration and reconstruction projects using Xactimate and traditional methods.
• Develop bids using material and labor pricing by sourcing from contractors and suppliers.
• Conduct site inspections for multi-unit, commercial, and condominium properties.
• Collaborate with property managers on rehabilitation and repair scopes.
• Support scope development and fast turnaround of estimates with Project Concierge team.
• Review and explain estimates with sales representatives to clients and stakeholders.
• Communicate with adjusters on commercial insurance claims, supplements, and negotiations.
• Represent Thomasville Restoration at industry events to promote services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
