Job summary

GPAC is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support commercial and multifamily reconstruction projects in Northern Virginia. You will focus on estimating, scoping, pricing, and securing restoration work, aligning with project managers and insurance adjusters to deliver accurate handoffs and profitable outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction estimating, a solid grasp of materials, labor, and pricing, and experience with commercial or multifamily projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction, restoration, or reconstruction estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, labor, and pricing.
• Experience estimating commercial or multifamily construction projects.
• Ability to scope projects, build estimates, and confidently present pricing.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Xactimate or similar estimating software preferred, but not required.
• Insurance restoration experience is a plus.

Construction Estimator - Commercial Restoration & Reconstruction

Location: Northern Virginia

Compensation: $90,000-$160,000+ (Based on Experience)

Overview

We're hiring an experienced Construction Estimator to support commercial and multifamily reconstruction projects following water, fire, storm, and other property losses. This role focuses on estimating, scoping, pricing, and securing reconstruction work. We're looking for someone with a strong construction background who understands how projects are built, can develop accurate estimates, and confidently communicate pricing and scope. Restoration experience is preferred, but strong construction estimating experience is equally valuable.

What You'll Do

• Prepare estimates for commercial and multifamily reconstruction projects
