Qualifications

• 1–2 years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
• Tek Skills Level 3 test with 80%+ is required.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Must have a good driving record and be able to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability is a basic requirement.
• Able to lift up to 60 lb and sit/stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on schedule as directed by supervisor.
• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and related components.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical/mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible records of work history.
• Provide general repairs on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Work on minor construction and startups of new installations.
• Other duties as assigned.
