CoolSys in the United States is seeking a skilled HVAC and refrigeration Service Technician to repair and overhaul equipment across various sites. You will work on compressors, pumps, air handlers, and controls, delivering reliable service to customers.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, EPA certification, 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, and ability to lift 60 lbs. You’ll join a team with paid training, comprehensive benefits, and a generous sign-on bonus up to $10,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with refrigeration in convenience stores or supermarkets is a plus.
• Must have a good driving record and work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and HVAC equipment to meet customer needs.
• Repair units such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions to ensure quality work.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible records of work history and process job tickets.
• Provide support by picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Assist with startup of new installations and related construction tasks.
• Drive company vehicle safely and follow company policies.
