Job summary

QuickHire Staffing in Detroit, MI is seeking a Commercial Recruiter for an on-site plus hybrid role that blends workforce management on client sites with in-office recruiting.

You will build a reliable candidate pipeline, conduct phone screens, coordinate onboarding, and partner with client supervisors to meet daily fill goals while maintaining strong communication and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher preferred).
• 1+ year of experience in staffing, recruiting, or customer-facing roles.
• Experience using an ATS (Workable or similar) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (daily client site travel required).

Responsibilities

• On-Site (First 2 Hours of Day): Report to assigned client site daily; Ensure all employees arrive on time and are properly clocked in; Address attendance issues in real time (text/call no-shows); Support employees with questions or concerns; Communicate directly with client supervisors and management; Maintain a professional, accountable presence representing QuickHire.
• In-Office (Remainder of Day): Recruit candidates for open job orders (primarily light industrial roles); Manage candidate pipeline using ATS (Workable or similar); Conduct phone screens and schedule interviews; Coordinate onboarding and job placements; Partner with internal team to meet daily and weekly fill goals; Maintain strong communication with candidates and clients.

Position Overview

Translation: You’ll start your day making sure people actually show up to work… then spend the rest of your day filling the pipeline so tomorrow doesn’t fall apart.

Daily Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher preferred)
• 1+ year of experience instaffing, recruiting, or customer-facing roles
• Experience using anATS(such asWorkableor similar) preferred
• Valid driver’s license andreliable transportation(daily client site travel required)

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods while on-site
• Early morning availability for client site check-ins
• Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments when needed

What Will Get You Hired Faster (Preferred)

• Staffing agency experience (light industrial = gold)

• Bilingual (Spanish is a strong plus in this market)
