Everestsearchpartners in Wilmington, DE is seeking a paralegal for its commercial real estate transactional practice. You will work with attorneys on sophisticated real estate and financing transactions from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has prior CRE or paralegal experience, is highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven, and can commute five days a week to Wilmington, DE.

Qualifications

• Prior commercial real estate or paralegal experience is required.
• Demonstrates success in a professional, deadline-driven work environment (legal, financial, administrative, or similar).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable; able to communicate clearly in writing and in person.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision; eager to learn in a fast-paced legal setting.
• Reliable commute to Wilmington, DE five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Work with attorneys and paralegals on sophisticated real estate and financing transactions from start to finish.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of title work, including review of title searches and preparation of title commitments and title insurance policies.
• Prepare closing and conveyance documents, including deeds, transfer tax affidavits, and settlement statements.
• Perform document recording procedures and Secretary of State filings; calculate and prorate closing costs.

As one of their paralegals, you will work with their firm’s attorneys and paralegals on sophisticated real estate and financing transactions from start to finish. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills who is eager to develop expertise in commercial real estate. Their firm handles unique, complex, and highly customized transactions; as such, the right candidate will thrive on analytical and detail-oriented and deadline-driven work that is constantly evolving.
