SVN Cornerstone Commercial in Spokane, WA is offering a 3-month, part-time internship in commercial real estate. This in-person role provides mentorship from experienced brokers, structured 16-week onboarding, and hands-on exposure to market analysis, financial research, and transaction support.

The internship focuses on learning through real-world experiences, with opportunities for advancement and skill development in financial analysis, research, and presentation preparation.

Qualifications

• Proficiently use Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong interest in commercial real estate and finance concepts is a plus.
• Pursuing or holding a college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research market trends, property information, and comparable sales and leases.
• Assist with financial analysis, property valuations, and Broker Opinions of Value (BOVs).
• Support the preparation of proposals, marketing materials, and client presentations.
• Assist with listing and transaction management, including document preparation and organization.
• Maintain property records, contacts, and CRM databases.
• Support brokers with research, business development, and special projects.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and collaborative projects.

Position: 3-Month, Part-Time Internship | In-Person Only - Spokane, WA

Compensation: $1,200 Monthly Stipend (During 3-Month Internship Only)

This position requires working in our Spokane office. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.

What You'll Do

All activities are performed under appropriate supervision and within applicable real estate licensing requirements.

Who We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or have completed a college degree, or possess equivalent education, military, or professional experience.
• Strong interest in commercial real estate, business, finance, sales, or entrepreneurship.
• Self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience in real estate, finance, sales, or CRM systems is a plus, but not required. No real estate license or prior commercial real estate experience is necessary.

Your Potential Career Path

Following the three-month internship, successful interns may be considered for a commission-only Associate Advisor role upon completion of the program. Those who transition into brokerage will have a head start through their internship training and can continue developing their skills with personalized coaching and mentorship. The $1,200 monthly stipend applies only during the 3-month internship. Transition to an Associate Advisor role is not guaranteed and is subject to performance, cultural fit, licensing requirements, and available opportunities.
