Job summary

A North Dallas-based boutique law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its growing transactional practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on experience working on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions alongside experienced senior attorneys.

Responsibilities include representing clients in CRE acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development, drafting and reviewing key transaction documents, and

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar membership in good standing.
• 2+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
• Experience with acquisitions, sales, financing, leasing, and/or development.
• Experience drafting and reviewing commercial real estate transaction documents.
• Strong analytical, drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Draft and review purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, easements, development agreements, and other transaction documents.
• Manage due diligence and assist with real estate closings.
• Review title commitments, surveys, zoning documentation, and environmental reports.
• Coordinate with lenders, title companies, surveyors, consultants, and other transaction parties.
• Identify legal and business issues and provide practical solutions throughout the transaction process.
