Commercial Property Manager/Leasing Agent

Firm Overview

Well established west suburban investment real estate and property management firm seeking an experienced Full Time Real Estate Marketing/Office Manager. The firm has been in business for over 45 years. Long term commitment is desired. Position is 70% real estate marketing and 30% office management. Fast paced, exciting, team-oriented atmosphere. Benefits include: 7 1/2 paid holidays, 3 paid personal/sick days, 2 weeks’ vacation, health insurance coverage up to $390/mo. And 401K. Voluntary benefits: Dental and vision.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Day to day management of a 15-20 property portfolio consisting of retail, office, industrial and apartment buildings.

• Accounts receivable and payable

• Preparation of monthly financial statements

• Handling of evictions and collections

• Assistance with real estate tax appeals

• Quarterly property inspections/annual apartment unit inspections

• Contracting for all maintenance and repairs

• Contract review and negotiations

• Leasing of all available apartment and commercial units

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management

• Highly motivated, service oriented, self-starter and adaptable to change

• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

• Dependable, punctual and excellent attention to detail

• Strong time management, follow-up and organization skills

• Ability to prioritize, multitask and work well in a fast paced environment

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
