Commercial Leasing Agents - SBM

SBM is a commercial real estate company that buys, develops, and leases commercial properties. Selling real estate is a unique sales role that involves persuading clients to see your space as an opportunity to expand and reshape their business. Success in this role requires tenacious follow-up and a balance between attention to detail and a big-picture outlook.

The key to SBM's success is acquiring new customers and maintaining relationships by providing exceptional service, which results in filling over 90% of available spaces under management.

Position Responsibilities

• Generate interest in available commercial real estate spaces.
• Meet with potential tenants and tour open spaces.
• Follow up on potential tenant leads.
• Perform background and credit checks on potential tenants.
• Prepare lease proposals and documents.
• Assist with collection of deposits and rents.
• Maintain tenant relations, address concerns, and keep tenants informed.
• Monitor and help maintain common areas and notify of maintenance needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in commercial real estate.
• Ability to work both in an office and in the field.
• Understanding of business planning and regulatory issues.
• Strong data analysis and performance metrics skills.
• Problem-solving ability and foresight into potential issues.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift 20 pounds and climb stairs.
