Commercial Leasing Agents-SBM

Balancing that attention to detail with a big picture, forward-looking view can be difficult for many, but for the right candidate, this will come naturally.

Last but not least; the ability to attract new customers to available spaces and to retain them by providing exceptional service is why SBM consistently fills more than 90% of the available space under their management.

Position Responsibilities:

• Generate interest in available commercial real estate space.
• Meet with potential tenants and tour open spaces with them.
• Follow up on potential tenant leads.
• Perform background and credit checks on potential tenants to qualify them for space.
• Prepare proposals for leases.
• Prepare lease documents and ensure tenant compliance with requirements and regulations.
• Assist with collection of security deposits and rents.
• Maintain tenant relations by keeping tenants informed and addressing concerns.
• Monitor and help maintain common areas.
• Notify management of any maintenance needs.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least three years of experience in commercial real estate.
• Ability to work both in an office and in the field.
• Understanding of business planning and regulatory issues.
• Strong data analysis and performance metrics skills.
• Quick problem diagnosis and foresight of potential issues.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds and climb stairs.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in a related field is a plus.
