Job summary

Peerless Fence is seeking a high-energy Project Manager to oversee commercial installations, coordinate subcontractors, and report to the Director of Commercial Operations. You will manage schedules, control costs, and ensure safe, on-time project delivery across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in project scheduling, construction management and/or project management.
• A self-starter able to work with minimal supervision and guidance.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage many projects at once.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication, professional demeanor with customers and teammates.
• Experience handling customer issues and concerns.
• Ability to navigate difficult conversations effectively with customers and team members.
• Proficient with Gmail/G Suite or similar.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review new projects for accuracy and requirements.
• Ensure contractors meet safety and quality objectives.
• Coordinate ordering of materials with suppliers and on-site shop.
• Keep open communication with clients and internal sales about timelines.
• Notify utilities of upcoming installations.
• Identify private utility risks and mitigation plans.
• Hold pre-construction meetings as needed.
• Coordinate daily check-ins with subcontractors to track progress.
• Contact customers if dates need adjusting due to weather or scheduling.
• Document all communications and tasks in the CRM.
• Evaluate project financial performance at completion.
• Assist with inventory control.
