Job summary

Reeves Young is seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to support multiple construction projects from initiation through completion. You will manage procurement, coordinate with engineers, architects, and vendors, and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.

Proficiency in ProCore/Project Sight, Viewpoint and related tools is required. The role emphasizes strong communication, on-site leadership, and collaboration with senior project staff to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must monitor and understand the financial status of a project.
• Proficiency with the following software: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam, ProCore/Project Sight, MS Project, Viewpoint, and Viewpoint Field Work Center.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Be proficient and perform all roles of a Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager across multiple projects.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement/buyout strategy and maintain a Buyout Log.
• Review project scope including drawings, specs, estimates and schedules to plan, negotiate and coordinate construction activities.
• Identify long-lead items and update schedules weekly with the team.
• Develop a project business plan to maximize fee, minimize waste, and improve schedule and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with supervisors to monitor progress, productivity and safety compliance.
