We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an in-office position and requires regular attendance at the office and project sites. Remote or work-from-home arrangements are not available for this role.
Compensation
- Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 annually, depending on experience
- Performance-Based Yearly Bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Process and manage project submittals, ensuring timely review and distribution.
- Prepare, track, and coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Review, prepare, negotiate, and process change orders.
- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and company standards.
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Manage procurement and material delivery schedules.
- Identify and resolve project issues to minimize delays and cost impacts.
- Oversee project closeout documentation and completion requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial construction project management experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project with the ability to create and manage detailed construction schedules.
- Experience processing submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, contracts, and project controls.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
- Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of construction management software platforms.
- OSHA certification or related safety training.
