Commercial HVAC Project Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time / Onsite
Location: San Antonio, TX
Base Pay Range: $100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC projects from planning through closeout. This role is responsible for contract administration, scheduling, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general contract and subcontract administration
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and procurement of materials and equipment
- Review and coordinate shop drawings and project submittals
- Monitor project costs, reporting, forecasting, and accounting
- Review and approve subcontractor and vendor applications for payment
- Participate in and document project coordination meetings
- Coordinate subcontractors’ field installations and activities
- Review, negotiate, and manage change order pricing with subcontractors and vendors
- Research and recommend construction means, methods, and timelines
- Lead problem‑solving and conflict resolution efforts
- Oversee quality control and manage project closeout activities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC project management experience
- Strong experience with hydronic systems and understanding of system operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Bluebeam and Navis is a plus
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
