Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a commercial construction role in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through final completion and manage budgets, schedules, and project teams.

Requirements include 5+ years of PM experience on ground-up commercial builds and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field. Ground-up experience with $1M-$20M projects is preferred.

• Manage project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and financial performance.
• Identify potential issues and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project staff.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the company's quality standards.

A well-established commercial construction company based in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who has progressed from an Assistant Project Manager role to a Project Manager and is ready to take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through completion.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Project Management experience, a strong background managing ground-up construction projects, and experience overseeing projects ranging from $1M-$20M. Commercial construction experience is preferred, but candidates with diverse ground-up project experience will be considered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager/APM required
• Experience managing projects ranging from $1M-$20M
• Commercial construction experience strongly preferred
• Diverse ground-up construction experience will be considered
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and project financials
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively resolve project challenges
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
