Job summary

Uprite Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project team through the entire construction lifecycle. The role focuses on documentation, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, cost tracking, and clear communication to keep projects safe, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in project engineering with a commercial GC and is eager to grow in commercial construction, with emphasis on ground-up work and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a Project Engineer with a commercial GC.
• Experience supporting ground-up commercial construction projects required.
• Reading construction drawings and specs confidently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Procore/Bluebeam/MS Project preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents through all project phases.
• Assist with project startup, planning, and closeout activities.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
• Track and distribute documents to owners, architects, consultants, and subs.
• Assist with project scheduling and monitor milestone progress.
• Coordinate subcontractor scopes, material deliveries, and procurement.
