Cox Engineering seeks a Process Pipe Estimator to join our Boston-area team. You will evaluate and price process piping projects, collaborating with project teams to deliver precise, competitive estimates that help drive project success.

Candidates should have experience in process piping estimation or related pipe trades, familiarity with estimating software, and proficiency in Revit/3D modeling. Strong MS Word/Excel and professional collaboration with clients and colleagues are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Process Pipe estimating experience preferred; or 5 years of relevant pipe trade experience in the mechanical construction industry

• Reviewing project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work and project requirements
• Developing cost estimates based on the scope of work, including materials, labor, and equipment
• Collaborating with project managers and other team members to identify opportunities to reduce costs
• Conducting site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
• Communicating with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing and availability information for materials and equipment
• Preparing and submitting bid proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns and project timelines
