Job summary

The Civi Group is actively seeking a Process Piping Estimator to support medium to large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects in New Hampshire. The role focuses on quantity take-offs, cost management, and bid preparation for process piping systems.

You will read blueprints and PFDs/P&IDs to accurately estimate materials, coordinate with project teams, and assess RFPs and specifications to ensure competitive, precise scoping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
• Minimum of 5 years estimating experience.
• Must read and understand blueprints.
• Able to meet deadlines with professional communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Define the scope of work for estimates and bid preparation.
• Use estimating software to perform quantity take-offs.
• Analyze RFPs, specs and basis of design to scope projects.
• Coordinate estimates with project teams to meet deadlines.
• Interpret PFDs and P&IDs to estimate materials.
• Review piping material specs for compliance.
• Review layouts to identify constructability issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing and availability.
