Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead commercial project estimates from start to finish in Columbus, OH. This role requires driving the preconstruction phase, building key relationships, and presenting critical cost information to clients.

Relocation assistance is available; 5–10 years of commercial project experience is preferred. This on-site position offers a competitive compensation package with bonuses based on experience.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial preconstruction or estimating experience.
• Experience leading project estimates from concept to close-out.
• Ability to present cost information to clients clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead, create, and complete entire project estimates.
• Perform detailed On-Screen Takeoffs.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules.
• Formulate VE ideas and calculate costs.
• Research materials and alternatives.
• Review and correct estimates prepared by team.
• Manage staffing and General Condition requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of current market and unit pricing.
