Job summary

Busey Bank in St. Louis seeks a Commercial Portfolio Manager to enhance client relationships using the full suite of Busey products.

You will manage a compliant book in collaboration with credit and loan teams, and provide preliminary financial analyses to inform credit decisions. You’ll interact with borrowers, prepare relationship reviews, identify cross-sell opportunities, and engage with internal and external clients while participating in community networking.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year college degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• Requires 2 or more years of banking, finance or sales related experience.
• Strong understanding of credit fundamentals, loan structuring and monitoring.
• Needs based sales and customer service skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the loan portfolio and ensure adherence to credit policy.
• Perform preliminary financial analyses to support credit decisions.
• Address routine and risk-related client servicing matters.
• Prepare call plans and relationship reviews for prospects and clients.
• Refer opportunities to other business lines and departments.
• Engage in external networking and community involvement.
