Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to manage client relationships using the full suite of Busey products and services. The role involves maintaining a compliant, well-managed loan book in partnership with credit and loan coordination teams, and contributing to credit decisions through financial analysis.

The position requires a four-year degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years in banking/finance or sales, with strong communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of: Strong understanding of credit fundamentals, loan structuring and monitoring, bank policy, and compliance
• Needs based sales and customer service skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Education and Training: Requires a 4-year college degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. Requires 2 or more years of banking, finance or sales related experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the loan portfolio to ensure adherence to credit policy and complete required actions
• Perform preliminary financial analyses to support credit decisions and evaluate industry risks
• Address collateral requirements, loan structuring and pricing
• Interact with customers to handle routine and non-routine servicing matters and risk items
• Prepare call plans and relationship reviews for prospects and clients
• Collaborate with internal and external clients and refer to other business lines as needed
