Job summary

Fry’s Food Stores, based in Arizona, seeks a maintenance plumber to service its store network. You will perform plumbing, drain and water heater work, and related tasks while ensuring accurate reporting and budget adherence.

The role requires lifting, flexible scheduling, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Kroger systems and mainframe tools are used daily, along with standard office software.

Qualifications

• Must lift at least 25 lbs.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to help all department members.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends & holidays; overtime may be required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong PC skills: Windows XP, MS Excel, CPC Ultrasite/Controllers, MS Outlook; learn Kroger mainframe apps (Viryanet Service Hub).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean drains, repair valves, and install commercial water heaters; perform related plumbing tasks for food retail facilities.
• Submit accurate time reporting and vehicle inventory by scheduled dates via company systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance in assigned stores at least twice per year.
• Ensure maintenance expenses meet annual budget guidelines.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
