Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to support plumbing and preventive maintenance across Tolleson, AZ stores. You will handle cleaning drains, valve repairs, and water heater work, while ensuring accurate reporting and timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities include submitting time and vehicle inventory reports, meeting annual budget guidelines, and coordinating with store teams.

Qualifications

General plumbing experience in food retail and/or commercial facilities.
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to handle changing scope of assignments and projects.
Overtime may be required.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to prioritize job functions.
Personal initiative and follow-through to completion.
Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Responsible for cleaning drains, valve repair and replacements in toilets, repair and install commercial water heaters, and other minimal tasks associated with plumbing.
Complete and submit accurate reporting of time reporting and vehicle inventory.
Perform preventive maintenance in assigned stores at least twice per year.
Ensure maintenance expense in assigned stores meet annual budgetary guidelines.
